Rare 150 year old 19th Century American History First Worlds Fair Large Wood Bucket Sugar Firkin Signed Stamped Centennial Best 1776-1876 in Sharon Pa. Antique Primitive 1876 Americana Wood Decor Container. The wood looks Oak but I am not sure if it is or not but it’s super clean. First worlds fair held in Philadelphia in 1876 Ten years after the Civil War. Rare Sugar Bucket Firkin Barrel Large approximately 13 x 15 inches it’s stamped/signed on the lid Our Centennial Best 1776-1876 It was made for the first worlds fair held in Philadelphia in 1876. It is a Large bucket with a wooden handle and it’s in good condition, great natural patina. It looks to me that one of the top brass tacks was replaced as seen in the photo. I’ve included pictures of the height and width along side a tape measure. It’s a nice piece of americana furniture or decor and it’s a rare find and a piece of history especially in this size. This is a very nice show piece that you can store items in and it’s sturdy so you can also put items on top of the lid. If you wanted to use this to put a lamp or other items on top of, you could and it’s a nice conversation piece
